On behalf of Urenco Limited, we provide a "Sorting Things" workshop to schools in the Ellesmere Port area. This supports the Y4 curriculum and relates to their industry.

On behalf of Shell UK Lts we manage the Shell Education Service.

The SES Workshop Programme comprises a wide variety of Primary School workshops covering the whole age range. All workshops are designed to fit both the National Curriculum for England and Wales and the Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland; and all are designed to develop science enquiry skills.

The workshop days are available in specific parts of the country. As the demand for these is very high, there is a limited availability of days in schools.

Other activities provided by the SES include:

  • Family Science Days
  • CASCADE courses - working with trainee teachers at universities
  • ACTIVATE booklet - science ideas for adults and children to do at home together

Full information about the SES can be found at www.shell.co.uk/ses.
